The history of the Ducati Panigale V4 began in 2018. It has a sturdy engine, synonymous with its sporty style.
The name “Panigale” is taken from the name of a city in Italy. Panigale has several variants: Panigale V4 SP2, Panigale V4 S, Panigale V4, Panigale V2, Panigale V2 Bayliss 1st Championship 20th Anniversary, and Panigale V4 R.
The Panigale V4 R model is the latest variant with a dashing overall design, and the V4 R uses the 998 cc variant; the model is a special WSBK homologation of the standard V4.

2024 DUCATI PANIGALE V4 R HANDLING
Like the Supersport culture towards more sophistication in all racing interests, the Power Mode logic provides four engine strategies: Full, High, Medium, and Low.
Ducati departing from Full Power Mode allows the engine to reach the high potential of the other modes, with an electronically unfiltered torque curve, except for the first gear.
Mode 3rd & 4th modes are high and medium mode options. A new Ride by Wire map management system with a unique calibration for each of the six gears has been developed for Medium and High power modes, ensuring the rider gets an optimal boost every time the throttle is opened.
The most common mode, or the lowest, is the Low Power Mode, designed for riding other than the race track, which means on typical road tracks, they limit the bike’s maximum power output to 160 hp and offer a very smooth throttle response.
